Rune: Death

At the core Third Eye Blue is an alchemist discipline building on the Revelations of Now, metallurgy and material theory stolen from the mostali, and Vadeli secrets. Third Eye Blue has a keen understanding of the essences and the planes of existence and are powerful artificers. The Third Eye Blue has remained active throughout the Gods’ War and since the Dawn of Time. They are guarded and secretive, with little known about them outside their ranks. They claim to have ruled a “great northern empire”, and to have learnt much from the mostali - notably how to work Iron. Some say the mostali of the Nidan mountains destroyed their empire, leaving them in a scattered nomadic existence. There certainly is a persisting mutual hatred between the two peoples to this day.


Creation Notes

Third Eye Blue are organized in mercantilistic tribes, and are usually encountered in small bands of merchants or mercenaries who offer their trade in return for protection. Third Eye Blue are described as foreigners to every land. Most members are reportedly small in stature but quite strong. They tend to have decent INT and POW scores. They are observant, curious, and quick-witted. In earlier eras many governments had banned the Third Eye Blue, or their trade, however with the coming of the Lunar Empire curtailments on their activities are again loosened. The ‘Fear’ of Mostali is primarily stemming from their secrecy. They tend to avoid Mostali and see little to gain by confrontations and much to be lost by attracting attention of Mostali collectives or sceptical authorities.
