The Vernastsons are descendants of the AroTurro who dwell in isolation in the Brass Mountains. They are fiercely isolationist and conservative, feared by lowlanders for their fierce but irregular raiding, and their unconquered independence.
Creation Notes
The Vernastsons are ‘technically’ Lodrilites, but they do not recognize any imperial authority nor have any particular regard for the ‘Higher Gods’ of Dara Happa; they venerate their unfailing protector Jalardo; Turos’ Mountain son, and they are feared for their powerful shamans.
