He adores his halfsister Raveena. He is the illegitimate son of Drenlon Sharpsword, a sartarite noble. Her granfather was Farald Hardnose, also a Sartar warrior. Farald survived Grizzly Peak and witnessed the acclaim of Terasarin. He survived the fight in the Holy Country and the Boldhomme Campaign, but in 1603 was killed by members of the Taraling Clan. Drenlon helped Kallyr Starbrow´s scape and was made thane. He fought in the Heindriking campaign with the Lunar army and died with great glory. Dalfar grew up in the Grazelands, with the family of her mother. he survived the Great Winter thanks to his family. He fought with Great Glory in the Siege of Nochet. He was nearly killed in Sartar, when he was trying to capture a rebel for the Lunar Empire in company of her halfsister.
