Rune: Beast

Arir is the cultural and geographical homeland of rugged, forested hills south of Mount Jernalf, within the concurrent Lunar Satrapy of Doblian. The Arirae largely retain tribal clan culture, claimed continuity since the Lesser Darkness when their claims to this region were affirmed by Daxdarius in return for their aid. The Arirae form clan-based coalitions that are ruled by a wanax - ‘first among equals’.


Creation Notes

Arirae culture is segmented by gender, and quite meritocratic.
